Simply. I sit still,
In fate’s quiet rest –
To take in, then give back.
Life’s mystery unfolds…

I breathe deeply,
Drawing in the outer air –
Postponing all meaning;
Whatever comes will appear.

I clothe myself in ether,
Which keeps me truly alive –
Whatever comes from above
Touches my face with love.

Within this lightness, I feel
A divine delight –
Lifting me gently forward
Towards peace, clear and bright.

In silence, I let all things rest.
My faithful thoughts –
I give them their pause,
So they, too, can catch a breath.

I do not think; I sit in stillness,
My body calm, in repose –
Breathing in the fullness
Of peace and gentleness.

And so, in this quiet moment,
I breathe in honesty –
Alive with delicate shivers
That long to comfort me.

And just like that, I let nothing
Disturb my quiet desire.
I smile, I sit in silence,
And write my lines.

Simply. I sit… still.
My eyes refuse to sleep –
I am here to take and to give.
This is what it means to live.
